Customer Service

We're committed to providing reliable service and quality equipment with every order. Please review our policies below and contact us with any questions.

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance by Oswalt Restaurant Supply. We only ship within the continental U.S. to valid street addresses (no PO boxes). Product availability may change without notice. We are not liable for discontinued or unavailable items, and refunds are limited to the amount paid.

Orders are subject to manufacturer case pack minimums and a minimum shipping and handling fee of $5.00.

Orders are typically shipped via UPS. For orders over 100 pounds, common carrier freight may be used. We will select the most economical method unless otherwise requested. Special shipping methods (e.g., next-day air) must be requested in the order comments, and we will contact you if additional arrangements are needed.

Returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus return freight unless the item is defective or we made an error. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RMA#) before returning items—packages without RMA will be refused.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Items without an RMA#
  • Used items
  • Special order/custom items
  • Items not in original condition/packaging
  • Clearance or closeout items
  • Aerosol cans
  • Hazardous or cleaning products

Please allow up to 5 weeks for your return to be fully processed (including shipping, inspection, and your bank's refund policy). Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Ownership transfers to you upon shipment. Carefully inspect all deliveries before accepting. If you notice visible damage or shortages:

  • Note it clearly on the freight bill
  • Request a damage inspection from the carrier
  • Keep all packaging materials for claim purposes

If you find concealed damage: You must file a claim with the freight carrier within 10 days of delivery. Take photos and document everything during your inspection.

All common carrier deliveries are FOB our dock or FOB manufacturer, meaning you own the product once it leaves our facility. Always:

  • Count all packages against the freight bill
  • Inspect packaging and contents immediately
  • Have the driver wait while you inspect
  • If needed, write "Accepted contingent on inspection" on the freight bill

Option 1: Refuse Shipment – For severely damaged goods, refuse delivery and it will be returned to the manufacturer.

Option 2: Accept Delivery with Notation – If damage is minor, accept it but document issues on the freight bill and immediately contact the freight company to begin a claim.
